Mudlet

Arda Marred was designed using Mudlet and is one of the top MUD clients today. It has a sleek interface and can be used with any operating system. Mudlet is fast, lightweight and is highly customizable. Mudlet comes with 20 preset MUDs but has the ability to add as many as needed.

Installation

This guide is meant for installing Mudlet for Windows, the process for Mac or Linux should be similar.

  1. Download Mudlet HERE. Make sure to choose the relevant Operating System for your computer.
  2. Select the proper installer and download.

  3. Go to your downloads folder, right click on the program and select Run as administrator

  4. Click Run when the security warning appears.

  5. When the installation finishes, it should look like this.



Updating Mudlet

  1. Open Mudlet and click the About button.

  2. Click the 'Check for updates' option.
