Combat Skills

Axe

The axe skill is used to determine the proficiency of an individuals use of a handaxe. Handaxes can be wielded with two hands or used with with the

SHIELDS

skill.

Primary attributes for the axe skill, listed in order of importance are:

STRENGTH,

DEXTERITY,

and

AGILITY.


Bludgeon

The bludgeon skill is used to determine the proficiency of an individuals use of a mace. Maces can be wielded with two hands or used with with the

SHIELDS

skill.

Primary attributes for the bludgeon skill, listed in order of importance are:

DEXTERITY,

AGILITY,

and

STRENGTH.


Brawling

The brawling skill is used to determine the proficiency of an individuals unarmed combat fighting skills. There are no weapons that are associated with this skill.

and

STRENGTH.


Crossbow

The crossbow skill is used to determine the proficiency of an individual's use of a crossbow. Crossbows have the damage of a longbow, and the accuracy of a shortbow. However, the reload time for an arrow is much longer.

DEXTERITY

and

AGILITY.


Dagger

The dagger skill is used to determine the proficiency of an individual's use of a dagger. Daggers are smaller and faster than any other edged weapon. The damage from a dagger is lower than any other edged weapon as well.

DEXTERITY

and

AGILITY.


Dodge

The dodge skill is a defensive skill that tests a user ability to move out of the way of attacks. There is no weapon or shield used in conjunction with the dodge skill.

AGILITY.


Heavy-Axe

The heavy-axe skill is used to determine the proficiency of an individuals use of a battleaxe. Battleaxes are wielded with two hands and utilize the

PARRY

skill.

AGILITY.


Heavy-Blade

The heavy-blade skill is used to determine the proficiency of an individuals use of a greatsword. Greatswords are wielded with both hands and make use of the

PARRY

skill.

and

AGILITY.


Heavy-Bludgeon

The heavy bludgeon skill is used to determine the proficiency of an individual's use of a warhammer. Warhammers are wielded with two hands and utilize the

PARRY

skill.

STRENGTH,

DEXTERITY,

and

AGILITY.


Hide

The hide skill is used to determine the proficiency of an individual's ability to remain hidden. The hide skill will check against the perception of someone who is searching the room in which you are hidden.

Primary attributes for the hide skill, listed in order of importance are:

DEXTERITY, AGILITY

and

WILLPOWER.


Light-Bludgeon

The light-bludgeon skill is used to determine the proficiency of an individuals use of a small club. Small clubs can be wielded with two hands or used with the

SHIELDS

skill

Primary attributes for the light-bludgeon skill, listed in order of importance are:

AGILITY, DEXTERITY,

and

STRENGTH.


Long-Blade

The long blade skill is used to determine the proficiency of an individuals use of a longsword. Longswords can be wielded with two hands or used with the

SHIELDS

skill.

Primary attributes for the long blade skill, listed in order of importance are:

STRENGTH, DEXTERITY,

and

AGILITY.


Longbow

The longbow skill is used to determine the proficiency of an individuals use of a longbow. Longbows do more damage from a greater distance than a shortbow.

Primary attributes for the longbow skill, listed in order of importance are:

DEXTERITY, AGILITY,

and

STRENGTH.


Long-Spear

The long-spear skill is used to determine the proficiency of an individuals use of a long spear. Long spears are wielded with two hands and utilize the

PARRY

skill.

Primary attributes for the long spear skill, listed in order of importance are:

STRENGTH, DEXTERITY,

and

AGILITY.


Offense

Offense is a skill which takes into account each attribute. The skill itself is meant to be somewhat utilitarian and is used in different calculations based around unarmed combat.

In no particular order, offense uses the following attributes

STRENGTH, DEXTERITY, AGILITY, CONSTITUTION, WILLPOWER, INTELLIGENCE,

and

AURA

.

Parry

The parry skill is used to determine an individual's ability to defend themselves by parrying blows made against them. Weapons that typically would use the parry skill include dual-wielded daggers or clubs, heavy weapons, or weapons used without shields.

Primary attributes for the parry skill, listed in order of importance are:

AGILITY, DEXTERITY,

and

STRENGTH.


Shields

The shield skill is used to determine an individual's ability to use a shield in their own defense. Weapons that can be used with a shield are either small or medium sized weapons. If a user has super strength or greater they might be able to use a shield with a heavy weapon.

Primary attributes for shields, listed in order of importance are:

STRENGTH, DEXTERITY,

and

AGILITY.


Shortbow

The shortbow skill is used to determine the proficiency of an individuals use of a shortbow. Shortbows are more accurate but do less damage than longbows.

Primary attributes for the shortbow skill, listed in order of importance are:

DEXTERITY, AGILITY,

and

STRENGTH.


Short-Blade

The short-blade skill is used to determine the proficiency of an individuals use of a shortsword. Shortswords can be wielded with two hands or used with the

SHIELDS

skill.

Primary attributes for the short blade skill, listed in order of importance are:

AGILITY, DEXTERITY,

and

STRENGTH.


Short-Spear

The short spear skill is used to determine the proficiency of an individuals use of a short spear. Short spears can be wielded with two hands or used with with the

SHIELDS

skill.

Primary attributes for the short spear skill, listed in order of importance are:

AGILITY, DEXTERITY,

and

STRENGTH.


Sneak

The sneak skill is used to determine the proficiency of an individuals ability to move from one room to another without being noticed. While there are attributes that increase your skill cap, the sneak skill will also take into account encumbrance as well as other factors.

Primary attributes for the sneak skill, listed in order of importance are:

HIDE, DEXTERITY,

and

AGILITY.


Throwing

The throwing skill is used to determine the proficiency of an individuals use of throwing weapons. Each throwing weapon can also be used as an improvised weapon of its particular type. The different throwing weapons include daggers, axes, and javelins.

DEXTERITY, AGILITY

and

STRENGTH.
